Description
For the Honor of Grayskull!
She-Ra was one of my favourite characters as a child. I can still remember the afternoon at my old house eating chocolate cookies and watching her adventures.
They're showing the episodes again in some channel here in Argentina and my younger sister (she was too little when She-Ra was on) saw them and asked me if I was ever going to picture She-Ra. So here she is.
I tried to stick to the original design for her outfit. Which led me to the following question: how exactly is the cape attached to her???
I drew her in a n°6 drawing paper, scanned in parts and joined them with GIMP. Then traced the lineart (last time I ever do that... turned out horribly) and painted with GIMP.
Unfortunately my tablet seems to be defunct, which made it impossible for me to draw a decent background, so I threw two fractals: GIMP's Nebula (the blue one) and a custom Man-o-war one (yeah, I chose it for the name).
She-Ra is © Mattel
